Breaking News Alert Prominent Greenwich Democrat Nancy Barton dies.
Remembering her intelligence, her love of travel and her community spirit, friends and colleagues across party lines are mourning the loss of former Board of Estimate and Taxation member Nancy Barton, who died Friday night at the age of 60 at Stamford Hospital. Ms. Barton’s campaign earned her the praise of her Democratic colleagues and her Republican opponent, all of whom remembered her intelligence, grace and strong desire to serve the public. Ms. Barton had struggled with health problems throughout the last year.
