05/24/10 LETTER TO GREENWICH ROUNDUP: Major Issues Plague Seton Day Camp in Greenwich

Seton Day Camp, which is run by the Greenwich Boy Scout Association in Greenwich, runs a day camp which is held during the summer months of the year. This camp is viewed by many as a safe environment for their children, which in fact it is not one at all. The camp was previously run by Diane Warzoha, who had been in charge of the day camp for many years. While it looked like a good job was being done by her, it really was not. Counselors who were employed there, often threw parties in buildings at the day camp, which included underage drinking and heavy drug use. Then they would sleep over and get up and help the kids the next day. Steven Warzoha who was first selectman, Peter Tesei's campaign manager took part quite often in these activities, and still did as of last summer. The camps current director Bob Gunsten, who oversaw the camp this previous summer has taken no action against any illegal activities that occur at the camp. This past summer counselors would smoke marijuana during lunch and then would go back to helping children after. Steven Warzoha continued to be a big part of this, in fact he is related to a former narcotics officer in the Greenwich Police Department, Michael Grabarz. This problem at the day camp has gone on for quite some time, with no administrators taking any action because the camp is brings in a large amount of the revenue for the Greenwich Boy Scout Council. The drug use is not the only issue that plagues this camp. Counselors often yell at children who are there, for no justified reason, and some even ridicule them as well. At the previous summer season a counselor threw a water balloon at a child's head then thought it was okay , and his fellow co-workers backed him up that it was. If your thinking of sending your child to Seton Day Camp, think again, or request to Mike Robertson, who is the Scout Executive for the Greenwich BSA that they all the counselors take drug tests, or even Peter Tesei, who employs Steven Warzoha who is a big part of the problem. These issues will continue to plague the day camp while it is unnoticed by parents who bring their children there. Word to the wise, bring your child somewhere else for camp.

03/24/10 North Dakota Reader Wants Greenwich Storm "Victims" To Stop The Belly Aching About Losing Cable TV For Two Days

Thought you'd like to see this one.

Maybe we should make North Dakota the capitol of the U. S. A.

This text is from a county emergency manager in Minot, North Dakota
Minot Daily News

WEATHER BULLETIN
Up here in the Northern part of North Dakota we just recovered from a Historic event --- may I even say a "Weather Event" of "Biblical Proportions" --- with a historic blizzard of up to 25" inches of snow and winds to 50 MPH that broke trees in half, knocked down utility poles, stranded hundreds of motorists in lethal snow banks, closed ALL roads, isolated scores of communities and cut power to 10's of thousands.

FYI:

Obama did not come.

FEMA did nothing.

No one howled for the government.

No one blamed the government.

No one even uttered an expletive on TV.

Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton did not visit.

Our Mayor's did not blame Obama or anyone else.

Our Governor did not blame Obama or anyone else either.

CNN, ABC, CBS, FOX, or NBC did not visit - or even report on this category 5 snow storm.

Nobody demanded $2,000 debit cards.

No one asked for a FEMA Trailer House.

No one looted.

Nobody - I mean Nobody demanded the government do something.
Nobody expected the government to do anything either.

No Larry King, No Bill O'Rielly, No Oprah, No Chris Mathews and No Geraldo Rivera.
No Shaun Penn, No Barbara Striesand, No Brad Pitts, No Hollywood types to be found.

Nope, we just melted the snow for water.

Sent out caravans of SUV's to pluck people out of snow engulfed cars.

The truck drivers pulled people out of snow banks and didn't ask for a penny.

Local restaurants made food, and the police and fire departments delivered it to the snow bound families..

Families took in the stranded people - total strangers.

We fired up wood stoves, broke out coal oil lanterns or Coleman lanterns.
We put on an extra layers of clothes because up here it is "Work or Die".
We did not wait for some affirmative action government to get us out of a mess created by being immobilized by a welfare program that trades votes for 'sittin at home' checks.

Even though a Category 5 blizzard of this scale is not usual, we know it can happen and how to deal with it ourselves.

I hope this gets passed around Greenwich.

Maybe .....

SOME Greenwich people will get the message ......

The world does Not owe you a living.

Anonymous Comments On: 03/21/10 Hearst Newspaper Cover Up: The Gas Bag Gets Greenwich Time Investigative Reporter Teri Buhl Fired?

Gee, I wonder if it had anything to do with Teri and Kaja Whitehouse, ganging up slandering a penny stock called Spongetech, which is under heavy fire from hedge funds who are attempting to short it into the ground?

Good riddance!

....The steakhouse has been closed since last April as it undergoes a major renovation. The renovation plan and changes to a 2008 site plan angered some condominium residents who believed there would be no further changes.

In an e-mail to Greenwich Time Wednesday, Stewart Napoleon, who resides at 20 Church St., said they are considering their options but didn't say what they may do. Jane Hogeman, the lawyer who represented those residents, could not be reached for comment.....

03/23/10 Hearst Newspaper Vice President Lincoln Millstien Starts To Run Scared As Town Residents Start Calling Up The Greenwich Time And Complaining

"David McCumber You Are Overruled !!!"

Greenwich Time editor Dave McCumber gets overruled by Hearst Vice President And Greenwich Resident Lincoln Millstein

Up until now Editor McCumber had refused to provide fired investigative reporter Teri Buhl with copies of her own stories.

Is Greenwich Time Editor David McCumber Some Kind Of NAZI !!!

Mr. McCumber and had been responsible for all of Ms. Buhl's stories being erased and censored from the Greenwich Time website.

The joke around town was that Mr. McCumber also had ordered the Greenwich Time art department to airbrush Ms. Buhl out of any Greenwich Time staff photograph that pictured him with her together.

The real joke is, "What Greenwich Time art department?"

The truth is that if David McCumber wanted to have Ms. Buhl's images air brushed out of photos, then he would have to call up the Connecticut Post Art Department,

That's right, everything is now done out of Bridgeport, from human resources to newspaper printing.

Hearst Vice President Lincoln Millstien
Is Trying To Put Greenwich Time Editor
David McCumber's Stupid Mistake To Rest.

Greenwich Time Investigative Reporter Teri Buhl just got a copies of her online articles in a PDF, with a warning from the Hearst Newspaper online team, which is headed By Lincoln Millstien,

She was strongly warned that Hearst still owns the content and it she can’t republished the articles. Ms. Buhl is only allowed to use the PDF's to get a new job.

Greenwich residents are starting to see how pathetic and gutless Greenwich Time Editor David McCumber really is.

McCumbers lack of Journalistic ethics is only speeding
up the Greenwich Time’s inevitable demise.

Town insiders say the the Greenwich Time will most likely become a weekly supplement to the Hearst owned Connecticut Post.

Everyone now knows what happens if a Greenwich Time reporter tells the truth.

They can expect to be dismissed, mocked and fired like Teri Buhl.

Greenwich Time Editor David McCumber has refused to comment about his firing of Teri Buhl, but he can be reached at david.mccumber@scni.com.

Perhaps some of Ms. Buhl's fans should start sending letters to the Greenwich Post editor.

Greenwich Roundup thinks Teri Buhl should start an online Greenwich blog, like Chris Fountain did when the Greenwich Post fired him.

Maybe Ms. Bulh can report on the the secretive Hearst Corporation and she could also tell town residents about how the Greenwich Time is desperate and money hungry.

Even better Ms. Buhl could warn town residents not to give massive amounts of their personal information to the Hearst Corporation so that they can comment on Greenwich Time news articles.

You can stop running those releases. I do appreciate all of your help in
making the Town of Greenwich programs a huge success.

I still need help with the Skatepark clinics and camps if you have the
space.

Thanks

03/23/10 Greenwich Roundup reader Comments On Fired Greenwich Time Reporter Teri Buhl

Philip has left a new comment on your post "03/23/19 Greenwich Roundup Reader Shows No Love For Teri Buhl...":

Who ever is making that comment is likely one of the financial firms that was ousted for bad behavior in one of Buhl's stories.

I've enjoyed your coverage on the issue Greenwich Roundup. We hope you get a chance to confront McCumber face to face and get a real answer on why he took down her blog. It was one of the only things worth reading on the Greenwich Time website.
