02/07/08 - School Parents Are Having To Suffer Incompetent School Administration Fools

Children imitate putting a Dunce Cap on
failed school administrators and construction managers.

When is the never ending fiasco of the
Hamilton Avenue school contruction project going to come to an end.

Everyone knows that Hamilton Avenue School is not going to be finished in for use in the fall.

Hamilton Avenue children are going to be forced to spend yet another year in the leaky modular classrooms.

School Administrators have allowed this school construction project to go from bad to worse to a totally incompetent failure.

Day after day Hamilton Avenue parents are forced to wait for a school that is way behind schedule and has suffered one design flaw after another.

Greenwich taxpayers are repeatedly forced to pay through the nose for this hopelessly over budget school project.

This school construction management disaster was voted an additional half a million dollars by the BET and the RTM last year.

The school administrators promised that this would fix Hamilton Avenue School once and for all and the school would soon open.

Last month, Greenwich taxpayers forced to shell out another half a million bucks or the failed construction project will come to a "grinding halt."

Hello, the failed Hamilton Avenue School appears to already at a halt.

Has anyone seen any substaintial progress at the construction site?

Once again, Betty Sternberg, the Greenwich Superintendent and her horde of incompetent administrators, will most likely continue lying to the taxpayers of Greenwich and promise that there will be no further delays.

Betty's "Everything Is Under Control" speeches are beginning to sound like finger nails on a chalk board.

Does anyone think that the very high paid Sternberg
have any credibility what-so-ever?

Almost everyone is starting recognize that Sternberg's has a pitiful record of dismal failure and non-accomplishment.

Unfortunately, Hamilton Avenue Scholl will continue to be a hideous boondoggle, that will be followed by another hideous boondoggle at Glenville School.

02/06/08 - Dr. Ian Rubin's Family Has Complained About The Press, But At Least The Family Got Justice.

There has been an extensive letter writing campaign from family members and fiends complaining of the press coverage over the shocking murder of Dr.Ian Rubins.

And while I feel for the family during this horrific and sad time.

I do think that the family is being a bit insensitive to the Bria family of Byram.

Like Dr. Rubins, No One Called To Help 19 Year Old John J. Bria.

But the Bria family has went three years without getting justice.

The Greenwich Police Department closed the case and Megan Caron, Katie Hanscom, Savannah Lamotte and Jason Cunningham have ecaped responsibility for the Byram boy's death.

Please see previous reports about John....

Nor has anyone been punished in the drug death of Kyle Lendenmann, a 17-year-old Greenwich High School student.

One year ago, Kyle was found dead at his home from what the Greenwich Police Department said was a methadone overdose.

Both of these Greenwich families are waiting for Justice for their boys.

Things could have been worse.

Leonard Bajramaj could of killed Dr. Rubins in Greenwich, where murders often go unpunished.

The Greenwich Police Department should re-open the Bria and Lendenmann cases and bring those responsible to justice.

02/04/08 - Savannah Lamotte, would tell police about John J. Bria's Death: "Maria and Jason picked me up around 9 p.m. …

Savannah Lamotte Says:

"Maria and Jason picked me up around 9 p.m. … We went to Shell and got some cigarettes, and then we went somewhere to shoot some heroin. We then went to get some cocaine …We went back to Shell and got some other stuff, and we went to shoot up some more heroin somewhere. The we went to John's house. When we got to John's house, Katie, Megan and John were all there.

Katie Hanscom, Megan Caron and Jason Cunningham were high school friends of Bria. Maria Scinto, also in the group, is from nearby Port Chester, N.Y.

Jason Cunningham would tell police that during the day, John Bria "was feeling really high from the pills that Megan
Caron had given him."

As the night wore on, most of the group left.

Jason Cunningham stayed behind, calling his mother,
Donna Cunningham about 4 a.m.

Ms. Cunningham arrived to pick him up about 8:30 a.m. Bria had been dead for several hours by that time.

Jason Cunningham told Bria's father that his son was still sleeping.

NO ONE CALLED 911 !!!!

Instead they
worked to cover up the drug party rather than notify John Bria's parents.

No one called the police, paramedics or anyone who could render John Bria medical assistance.

They just let him die, to save themselves.

Worse yet the Greenwich Police Department assisted these evil doers by just closing the case on the dead Byram boy.

Maybe if 19 year old John J. Bria had been killed in Stamford his family would have gotten justice.

02/04/08 - Here is some lengthly election blogpistle from Bill Clark at the Greenwich Gossip Blog

Super Tuesday Comes to Greenwich

In a couple of days we here in Greenwich may have helped to pick the winning candidates for each party in the next Presidential election. As Greenwich goes, so goes the nation, right? Well, our Town has produced more US senators, ambassadors, vice presidents, and presidents than any other town in the country, so it makes perfect sense that this should be the case.

Meanwhile, the local political landscape is changing as well. Skippy Snickerson and the Doll have both announced their long-awaited retirement plans, and there is dancing in the streets at the opportunity to send some fresh blood up to Hartford. Former State Rep Janet Lockton is itching to get back into harness, and would be a natural to replace Skippy. Ed Krumeich nearly beat the Doll last time around, and after many years of yeoman service to the Town on the BET and the DTC, would make an ideal replacement for her. As mentioned before in these pages, Ed's prowess on the stage as seen in numerous local Gilbert & Sullivan productions would make him well-suited to tap dance his way though the political tripwires up in Hartford.

Moreover, Ed being a Democrat, he would quite likely have more influence for good in our local area as a member of the majority party in the House. Why the local voters have never focused on the widsom of sending a strong Democratic candidate to the House is a mystery to your scribe, but maybe that will change this time around. As for Republican candidate Janet, her district would include part of north Stamford and New Canaan (remember, dear reader, the State Senate is much smaller than the House of Representatives), which is pretty much dyed-in-the-wool Republican territory. Her experience and contacts in Hartford would be certain to prove beneficial to all of us here in the local area.

Meanwhile, Skippy is still very much on the scene, alas. Your scribe was walking peacfully down Greenwich Avenue the other day when he was accosted by Skippy, who waved his arms wildly like semaphores and exclaimed, "Hi! How are you? Great to see you!" Your scribe had to duck under the flailing arms in order to get by him and proceed on his way. (As long-time readers of these pages will recall, Skippy is well aware of your scribe's allergic reaction to him, and loves to make a game of it; he has been known to sneak up behind your scribe at the library and say "Hi, Bill" in order to elicit a "Hello" in return - which actually worked once, much to your scribe's embarrassment.)

So change is in the wind, and our Town has its part to play in bringing it about. Which, of course, means YOU, dear reader. The polls will be open from 6 AM to 8 PM, so be sure to do your civic duty and VOTE. No, I know the party machines in Town no longer reimburse you in cash for your trouble, as they did in the early decades of the last century, but that's no reason to stay home. Remember, people tend to get the government they deserve. Indifference breeds business as usual. If there's one thing on which all the candidates seem to agree right now, it's the need for change. So let's all do our part to bring it about.

02/03/08 - The Stamford Police Know How To Properly Investigate A Drug Death

MESSAGE TO GREENWICH POLICE CHIEF
DAVID RIDBERG:

Stamford police have quickly went after a man and charged him with with first-degree manslaughter for providing drugs and failing to call 911 when Dr. Ian Rubins, a Greenwich plastic surgeon, became ill from an overdose. Rubins later died.

Leonard Bajramaj, 32, of Stamford, has pleaded not guilty in that case.

Please see this article:

Greenwich doctor’s death tied to drugs, arrest made
Greenwich Post - Greenwich,CT,USA
A Stamford man is under arrest after what police are calling the drug-related death of former Greenwich Hospital plastic surgeon Ian Rubins. ...

But What About The A Dead Byram Boy That Was The Son Of A Landscaper?

No one is arresting those that supplied him with drugs and covered up his death.

Do you have to be a rich plastic surgeon to get justice?

What about John J. Bria's Family.

The Greenwich Police Department for three years failed to charge anyone in the manslaughter of John Bria of Byram.

Katie Hanscom, Savannah Lamotte, Megan Caron and Jason Cunningham have walked away from a night of hard illegal drugs without as much as a slap on the wrist.

None of these druggies was ever held accountable for the death of a 19 year old Byram boy,

Even though the Greenwich Police Department has failed to properly investigate the three year old death, the Bria family has sued
Katie Hanscom, Savannah Lamotte, Megan Caron and Jason Cunningham.

Further, A Stamford judge ruled against a motion to dismiss the lawsuit, finding that those who provide fatal doses of illegal drugs can be civilly responsible for injuries and deaths.

IT IS TIME TO REINVESTIGATE THE BRIA MANSLAUGHTER CASE.

THE BRIA CASE SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN CLOSED.

THERE ARE TOO MANY UNSOLVED DEATHS IN GREENWICH
.

Why Hasn't
The Greenwich Police Department Went After The People Involved In Kyle Lendenmann Death.

Kyle was a 17-year-old Greenwich High School student who was found dead at his home last year of a methadone overdose a year ago.

But the citizens of Greenwich Never Hear Of These Deaths.

The Greenwich Police Department Needs To Start Going After People Who Give Our Kids Hard Drugs.
