01/04/08 - The Police Commisioner Tesei Once Again Interfers With Legislative Branch Of Government

Enough With The Police Department's Dirty Tricks. Lets Just Go See The Judge.

When Police Commissioner Tesei, Police Chief David Ridberg and illegally appointed Police Captain Michael Pacewicz did not follow the laws of Connecticut. I was an up front and Civilized Gentleman. I went to the Connecticut Freedom Of Information Commission and requested a court hearing. Why can't Tesei, Ridberg and Pacewicz act like Civilized Gentlemen instead of thin skinned thugs?

Police Commissioner Tesei's Out Of Control Police Department Continues Retaliation Against Greenwich Legislator, Because Of Blog Comments.

For the second time in about 48 Hours Greenwich Police Commissioner Peter Tesei's Police Department Has Had A Lady Contact And Harass My Landlord.

Demanding That He Have Me Resign From My Town Of Greenwich Legislative Seat.

I got to listen to my landlord complain,

"I don't want trouble with these guys."

"You don't understand that I have a lot of property and they can make a lot of trouble for me."

"The police have more power than you in Greenwich"

"Can't you just go get a garage in Port Chester, so that they will leave me alone?"

Please Read Hear:

01/04/08 - No Checks, No Balances - We Need An Experienced Police Commissioner That We Can Trust.

I have repeatedly told my Landlord to inform Mr. Tesei and his retaliatory Police Department that I received more signatures than any RTM Candidate in the Town Of Greenwich and I made some promises to district residents about how I am going to speak out about the problems facing Byram. Byram has been neglected far too long.

I have a month to month lease in a building that is zoned residential in district 4 Byram.

If Mr. Tesei thinks that I or RTM Moderator Thomas Byrne are going to let him dominate, interfere and manipulate the Greenwich Legislative branch of government, then he has another thing coming.

It is time that Peter Tesei's Administration stopped sneaking around threatening people.

If you want to challenge the residency of a Greenwich Legislator, then act like a civilized and dignified man and go see a judge. Then I can respond to your illegal and sneaky tactics to silence a voice for the poor and working class of Greenwich.

Mr. Tesei, needs to start waking up to the fact that he is the First Selectman and Police Commissioner is the Richest Town In The Richest State Of The Richest Country In The World.

We have the Best paid police department of any Town in Connecticut.

Yet people get mugged in Byram, while a police officer sits up on Putnam Avenue looking for burned out taillights.

Almost everyday the Town buys the First Selectman and his visitors a free lunch.

While some children in Byram miss a meal every now and then.

I have been a longtime resident of Greenwich and I am going to speak out so that some of the wealth of Greenwich gets sent down to Byram.

Even if Police Commissioner and First Selectman Peter Tesei succeeds in his attempt to drive me out of my home and make me homeless, he will not succeed in keeping me from taking the legislative seat I was lawfully elected to.

As I explained to Joan Caldwell, The Representative Town Meeting Pro Tempore, I am going to sit in the Byram District 4 seat I was lawfully elected to and I am going to advocate for all of the residents and merchants of Byram.

First Selectman Peter Tesei was listening in when I spoke to Ms. Caldwell

And Ms. Caldwell said I did not have any problems if I was a resident of the Town Of Greenwich and has slept in District 4 the night before the election.

I assured her that I had and that I had even been sworn in by the Town as an election Official the day of the election.

More over I told her I had slept more than 1,000 consecutive nights in Byram District 4, unlike the Gentleman that owns and lives in a house on Clapridge Road, but is elected to District 2.

It appears that this Republican gentleman rented a motel room at the Delmar Hotel the night before the election so that he could serve on a RTM district that he does not technically reside in. He sort of visits there occasionally.

It's OK with First Selectman Peter Tesei that this Rich Republican insider manipulates the Greenwich legislature, so that he can advocate for all himself and his rich buddies in downtown Greenwich.

But Mr. Tesei has a problem when a Poor Independent who actually resides in his district wants to advocate for the downtrodden of gritty.

The poor, the seniors, the single family homeowners, the youth and everyone else.

Byram will have adequate police protection and it's fair share of Town Services when I am done.

What the hell has Byram District 4 Chairman Robert McKnight and his cronies ever done to improve Byram.

Byram has steadily went down hill under the leadership of Chairman Robert McKnight.

Things are going to change, the people of Byram are going to be heard and responded to, by the big shots at Greenwich Town Hall.

And Mr. Tessi, don't be like Mr. Lash.

Don't use tax dollars to stuff your face and the faces of your friends with free meals delivered to Town Hall.

Taxpayers can't afford to feed wealthy bigshots, while the less fortunate go hungry.

Give the money to one of the Church pastors in Byram that are always being approached by working families and Seniors in Byram that could use a little extra food to make it through the month.

01/04/08 - Greenwich Police Officers Sit On The Post Road Looking For Burned Out Tailights In Hopes Of Making A Drug Arrest

The Byram Police Officer's Sit On The Post Road Looking For Burned Out Tail Lights In Hopes Of Finding Drugs In Cars That They Pull Over.

Yet When Someone Dies Of Drugs In Byram, The Police Do Not Go After The Drug Suppliers.

For example....

The John Bria "Drug Murder" Case In Byram.

John J. Bria was a 19 year old boy who had a membership in a fitness club and some say even worked out with a personal trainer.

John's friends described him as very health conscious.

This Byram boy earned an associate's degree.

He sent out resumes while working for his father's landscaping business. He even had an internship at a recording studio.

This was a 19 year old Byram boy that was looking to have a wonderful future and many say his family was very proud of him.

John was not known to be a hard drug abuser.

But in January of 2004, lots of hard drugs
-- including Prozac, cocaine, marijuana and Clonezepam, an anti-seizure medication -- were brought to the Bria household.

After a night of drugs John's father found him dead in his room the next day.

It looked like John's room had been set up.

Credit cards were left conspicuously on a nightstand, on an armrest, on an amplifier. Several ashtrays were empty or wiped clean.

There was a small silver pipe on his pillow next to his head. There were no ashes on the pillow.

An autopsy revealed heroin and cocaine in Bria's body.

The medical examiner who conducted it resigned in disgrace after taking a bribe in another case. His findings have been challenged. Later tests found codeine in John's body.

Police found a sealed cellophane wrapper containing 19 Prozac pills and 6 Clonezepam in the Bria bedroom, along with eight glyceine bags containing drug residue.

In almost any town in America these facts could generate arrests on charges that would range from drug possession, drug sales and up to homicide.

Yet the Greenwich Police Department Just Closed The Case, no one was arrested for all of those hard drugs.

The Greenwich Police Know That
Katie Hanscom, Megan Caron, Jason Cunningham and Savannah Lamotte spent time with John the night of his death.

The Greenwich Police also know that Jason's Cunningham's mother, Donna Cunningham, picked up her son the morning after the murerous party.

The Greenwich Police have taken statements from these druggies who refused to call 911 and get John medical attention.

Could John have been saved?

It is very possible?

Should these irresponsible druggies who covered up a murder, be prosecuted for the death of John?

Most definitely.

Are the Greenwich Police intimidated because Megan Caron's father is a rich Hollywood big shot?

Probably.

Let's Face the facts.
This wouldn't be the first time Greenwich cops backed off from a celebrity.

The Proof is that the Greenwich Police Department refuses to reopen the Byram Drug Murder Case.

It is not so contavercial, sitting on the Post Road looking for poor folks and minorities who have burned out tail lights.

Heroin Murder's With Rich Daddy's Are Not Held Accountable In Greenwich, because the Greenwich Police Department is looking for burned out car tail lights on Putnam Avenue.

01/03/07 - Can The Citizen's Of Greenwich Trust Police Commissioner Peter Tessi's Leadership?

EXPERIENCE YOU CAN TRUST MY ASS !
Where The Hell Is Peter Tesei's Leadership?
Where The Hell Is The Trust?

My wive has had to spend the night in Greenwich Hospital being stabilized, because her blood pressure has shot up to 219 over 144, even though she is on three blood pressure medications.

This illegal search and raid on her store by four police officers has made her very afraid and nervous.

My wive is a Korean resident Alien who has lived in America for 30 years. When she left Korea it was ruled by a Military Dictatorship that ruled a police state. There was a dawn to dusk curfew. Korean citizens could be arrested and held indefinitely without due process and a trial.

This politically motivated raid on her store to silence a critic who was going to speak out about the police department has came close to giving my dear wife a stroke.

God forbid, that If my wife is incapacitated because Police Commissioner Peter Tesei looks on and dose nothing about police misconduct, then he may see a big chunk of his personal assets going to care for my dear wife.

It is a disgrace that Police Commissioner Peter Tesei has allowed illegally appointed Police Captain Michael Pacewicz not to properly and fairly investigate the illegal search and police misconduct that occurred in my wives store.

Shame on Police Commisioner Peter Tesei for allowing illegally appointed Police Captain Michael Pacewicz to deny my family and I our constitutionally guaranteed rights to due process.

Our youngest son recently returned from a tour in Iraq, defending the American Constitution against Islamic fascists that would come and take away our rights and establish a religious system of law to replace the Bill Of Rights.

My son went out on missions everyday, survived three IED attacks, received 11accomedations defending the constitutional rights that are being denied to my family and others in the Town Of Greenwich.

Shame on illegally appointed Police Captain Michael Pacewicz and Police Commissioner Peter Tesei for ignoring the oath they took to protect and follow the Constitution of the United States Of America.

It is a civil rights crime to the police to keep a critic of government from excessing his or her right to free speech. It is a civil rights crime to deny any citizen their rights of due process, no matter what thier race, creed or color.

Shame On Police Commissioner Peter Tesei For Showing No Leadership And Violating Our Trust.

Do you feel like a big man now that you have stood by and done nothing as a poor woman who would not hurt a fly is hospitalized. Why is it so hard for you give her and her family a fair and open investigation, that all the residents of Greenwich can TRUST is right. My wife is suffering, because Police Commissioner Peter Tesei is showing no LEADERSHIP to guarantee that it citizens get their rights to due process.

Shame On Illegally Appointed Police Captain Michael Pacewicz

Illegally appointed Police Captain and National Guard Soldier Michael Pacewicz, has dishonored a fellow active duty soldiers and family by denying them the Constitutionally protected right to due process in a civilian complaint of police misconduct.

01/02/08 - The Town Assesor Joins The Greenwich Police Dpartment Dirty Tricks Squad, As Police Commissioner Peter Tesei Looks On And Does Nothing.

I was informed over my cell phone that my wives's store is getting a town tax audit, because the last Greenwich Time News Story about illegally appointed Police Captain Michael Pacewicz's refusal to conduct a fair open and honest investigation about police misconduct in Byram.

When I complained to Greenwich Town Assessor Ted Gwartney about this special audit, he said it was because of the Greenwich Time Article in yesterdays paper. When I asked if any other businesses listed in yesterday's paper were going to get a special audit he said, "I don't believe so."

When I asked him how he got the phone number that he called me on, at first he said from the phone book when he looked up the store's phone number. I then informed Mr. Gwartney that this was a cell phone that had never been associated with the store and would not be listed in any phone book.

Mr. Gwartney then explained it must have came from filings my wife had made in his office.

I then further, explained to Mr. Gwartney that I just got the cell phone, because I lost my cell phone just before Christmas. I had only given the phone number to the Greenwich Police Department and to Mr. Tessi's office when I repeatedly left messages seeking an appointment.

So I started asking Mr. Gwartney if he got the number from the Police Department or Mr. Tessi's office?

Mr. Gwartney then said he was unsure how his office got the number, but would find out for me.

I then called and complained to Mr. Tessi's secretary Paula who swore that the number had not came from Police Commissioner Peter Tessi's office.

Later, when I spoke to Mr. Gwartney again he said we got the number from the Greenwich Roundup Blog. So I then said,"So my wive is getting a special audit, because of what is written in Greenwich Roundup?'

Mr. Gwartney responded by saying, "I would not characterize it that way."

When I asked just how would he characterize it. Mr. Gwartney hung the phone up on me.

Just how many people are going to get caught up in illegally appointed Police Captain Michael Pacwicz's amateurish attempt to cover up police misconduct and civil rights violations.

Will the Fire Department or the Building Department be used improperly next?

When is Police Commissioner Peter Tesei goim to show some leadership and guarantee that my family and I get our Due Process Rights

I just love this Google Analytics software.

It's so cool.

With the IP address it's very easy to see when a certain computer is visiting Greenwich Roundup.

It is amazing how specific the search terms are from the Search engines.

But the really interesting is looking at the number of clicks registered on the keywords or labels in the left hand column on December 27th the day I was going to call Sam Romeo and complain about the management of the Greenwich Police Department in General and the 4 to 11 Byram coverage specifically.

Man charged with defrauding Argos players faces more unrelated charges
The Canadian Press
- A man facing charges for allegedly defrauding four Toronto Argonauts players and head coach Michael (Pinball) Clemons is now facing additional fraud charges. Walter Garrick, 37, of Oakville, Ont., faces 16 charges of theft and fraud in Toronto in relation to the Argos case. He was charged in November by Halton regional police with five counts of fraud over $5,000 and one count of fraud under $5,000 for another alleged scam. Police allege Garrick convinced people to invest with him after he told them he was an Ivy League-educated doctor who owned Google stock and the Mississauga IceDogs junior hockey team. Toronto police have now charged Garrick with attempted fraud over $5,000 and two counts of not complying with bail conditions. He allegedly attempted to defraud a real estate office in Greenwich, Conn., through the purchase of a house there.

01/01/08 The 2007 Knucklehead Of The Year Award Goes To .....

DUMBEST OF THE DUMB

When it came to selecting the New York Knucklehead of the Year, however, all distractions were put aside, the nominees were carefully reviewed and the vote was unanimous. Alas, we cannot inscribe the award with an actual name, because there were multiple winners involved in this
Greenwich Police Department disaster.....

Oh, how we would like to actually name all the political geniuses involved in violating civil service rules for the Greenwich Police Department's Captains position. But that is not to be. All those involved can pick up the prize, though, by coming to the rear door of 161 North Water Street in Byram at midnight, knocking three times and whispering the secret password, which is
"Ridberg Is Incompetent."

The Morons Who Did Not Follow The Civil Service Rules And Illegally Appointed Michael Pacewicz Captain once again got the Greenwich taxpayer involved in another expensive lawsuit that the Town lost.

Pacewicz can not even properly conduct a simple internal affairs investigation.

Every time Pacewiez cashes his big fat Captain's paycheck the taxpayers are being cheated.

The taxpayers of Greenwich are paying top dollar and deserve better than the bungling Pacewicz who trys to solve police department performance and discipline problems with amateurish attempts at two bit cover ups.

With boobs like Pacewicz in charge - No wonder murders go unsolved in Greenwich.

01/01/08 - An Opinion From Nick Fortunato Of Greenwich

Norwalk Advocate
Regarding the new voting machines used in November: A family member who had already voted phoned me and said that she didn't see any of the people on the sheet that I suggested she vote for. Having not seen the sheet yet, I said; "Impossible. How could you not see them." I told her that I hadn't voted yet, but after I did, I would call and let her know what I found out....
.....In retrospect (although a worthy cause) the Girl Scout cookie table should've been way over to the side and the voting instruction table directly in front, as voting was the main purpose of the evening. Also, the notice to turn the sheet over probably should've been much bolder with larger type. I suspect that there might've been others who were confused by the sheet having two sides. A quick study of the sheets turned in would determine if the voting on one side was just an aberration.

12/31/07 - Red Alert - The Gateway To The Town Of Greenwich And The Village Of Byram Looks Like A Hazardous Waste Zone

Thank God The Police Department
Is Making Sure That There Are
No Broken Tail Lights US1

The State DOT Says To 20,000 Cars A
Day Go Up And Down US1 (Putnam Avenue).

Just Look At What They See When They Enter The Town Of Greenwich And The Village Of Byram.

The Place Is A Dump.

If you look to the right you will see a man who rides a bike from Port Chester to drink all day long.

He doesn't drink from an open container in Port Chester, because he would be locked up.

Every school day he drinks in front of Byram children as they get on and off their school busses.

I don't want to show a picture of him, because he suffers from an illness.

However, here is the mess he leaves.

I have personally went down to the vest pocket or gateway park and cleaned this mess up many times.

If you look to the you will see the Welcome Sign covered with gang wittings.

It sure is hard for Byram School children to say no to gangs, when they think that DPW workers or the police are too scared to remove the gang symbols.

This gang related witting is
killing business in Byram.

Greenwich residents from Old Greenwich, Riverside and the Back Country just are not used to shopping in areas marked by criminal gangs tags.

But if you don't like this little vest pocket park, then go across the street there is a another park with a historic house that is used as drug or crack house.

It sure is hard for school children just to say no to drugs when they see druggies right across the street from their bus stop.

But don't worry the Byram Police Officer is just a few blocks down on US1 checking for burned out tail lights.

Meanwhile, at night cars parked on Byram streets are having their windows smashed, mirrors knocked off and tires slashed.

12/31/07 - Timelime Proves That Police Officers Retaliated Against A Greenwich Legislator, Because He Spoke Out About The GPD And Byram

I am going to take a few moments to correct the hopelessly biased Greenwich Police Captain Michael Pacewicz and expose his amateurish attempt at a cover up.
Previously the following had been posted here at Greenwich Roundup Here Is A Timeline:

12/29/07 - Byram man complains about civil rights violations and police using illegal search as a means of retaliation

12/27/07 - They Did A Lindy Urso On Me - Greenwich Police Raid At 6pm Prevents Me From Speking To Sam Romeo On WGCH

"So at 6 when the Sam Romeo show starts to come on two police officers come into my wives store asking for me. They tell me they ticketed the car that I had been complaining about and now they were going to inspect my wives's store for infractions.

They took down my name, address, social security number, date of birth, and social security number, but they did not ask for my frighten wives's information.

Then they were demanding that I give them a drivers license. I told them I did not drive, because I did not drive. I have a glass eye in my right eye and that I do not see to good out of my left eye.

Then officers started telling me that my photo ID was not good enough, They then started telling me that they were going to have to arrest me and have me make bond for the ticket they were going to write up. They started claiming that they did not know who I was.

I then told the officers that they knew exactly who I was, because one of the officers had made remarks to me previously, because I had filed a civilian complaint against a police officer, who latter sued the Greenwich Police Department for discrimination and said the Greenwich Police were inappropriately using road blocks to profile poor and minority residents of Byram."

6:00 pm - The Greenwich Matters Show Hosted By Sam Romeo Comes On WGCH

#####

12/27/07 - Please Help Me Get Up To Spead On The Issues Affecting Byram

Tonight, I am going to speak on the Sam Romeo show about the poor job that the police department does of patrolling and protecting Byram.

Mr. Romeo rightly demands accountability of all departments of Greenwich Government. Yet he refuses to use his WGCH microphone to demand the same accountability of the Greenwich Police Department.

Please understand that I do not think at this time that the individual officers are the problem.

I support the police officers, my car is loaded with Greenwich police union stickers going back for years.

I really think the problem is with how the police brass manage the Greenwich Police Department. The Republican administration should have gotten an outside professional to replace Chief Walters."

12/27/07 - Greenwich Matters Is On Tonight On WGCH

"Tonight it will be time again for Greenwich Matter's to air on WGCH from 6 pm to 7 pm.

The Show Features Sam Romeo has been strong critic of Greenwich Governmental Departments.

He demands accountability and sound management practices of the Greenwich Governmental Departments That He Goes After.

However, Sam Romeo Turns A Blind Eye To The Greenwich Police Department.

Mr. Romeo will make excuses for the Police Department Leadership, but he refuses to demand accountability.

Mr. Romeo strongly supports the Greenwich Police Department, as everyone in Greenwich does.

I personally believe that there are many outstanding officers in the Greenwich Police Department, but the management of those officers is a joke.

I live in Byram and the officers are poorly managed."

12/26/07 - This Greenwich Police Department Theroy Has Prevented The Police Department For Solving This Murder For 18 Months.

"Police Brass have been sticking to this lame brain theory that the 16 million dollar swindler Andrew Kissel hired a guy to tie his hands and feet in Flex Cuffs, pull his T-shirt over his head and then be stabbed four or five times in the back, because he couldn't bring himself to commit suicide."

12/24/07 - The Police Department Is All Talk And No Action

For over one week I have had a call into the Police Official who is responsible for Western Greenwich. Radio host Sam Romeo suggested I call this police resource or liaison officer for Western Greenwich.

When I called Mr. Romeo about some of the short comings i saw with how the Police were deployed in Byram he suggested I Call the police official in charge of Western Greenwich.

So I took Mr. Romeo's advice and reached out to make the call.

I have a great deal of respect for Mr. Romeo. He is the reason I decided to put my name out to be on the Byram RTM.

However, Mr. Romeo's close association with some police officials and officers seems to clood his judgment on Police performance in certain areas of Greenwich.

...The senior suspended by Capasso, Stephen Bryn, 17, was accused of making a sexually suggestive remark about a female student, and is seeking a court injunction to block the school from sharing information about the discipline with colleges where he applies.
