Nope, not there either.

07/18/09 Naked Man Walking in Greenwich

07/07/09

As I was getting onto exit 3 I-95 north yesterday morning there was a middle age man walking around totally naked. I called police who had already "knew" but I was checking to see if it made the news anywhere and I did not find it. As I know this isn't life interrupting news I was grossed out and thankfully saw before my children and was able to warn them to cover their eyes. I guess I'm just curious if it was a "prank" or someone seriously ill and if so how did he get that far without being caught... meaning there aren't really any houses nearby.

I'm answering your call for editors/columnists.

A versatile communicator, I have experience in print, brodacast and Internet media. I'm not sure in which position I would be most effective. Perhaps Lifestyle Editor or opinion/arts columnist. I am inmpressed with your extensive coverage and would like to discuss future opportunities, time requirements and compensation.

Hello,

A while ago, for some unfathomable reason, you started listing the current post from one of my blogs on your blog. I appreciate it and have gotten maybe a dozen or so visitors. I think my new one's much better, though.

Anyway, the reason I'm writing you is...

I was wondering, you see, as I've noticed that there are two listings in the sidebar for Greenwich-based web designers, as to exactly how one might get listed there, as, well, that's what I do.

Although it's never happened, just 4 website gigs a month will keep me from living in a world where I get at least two overdrafts a week and 20+ phone calls a day...

Thanks,

TOWN OF GREENWICH AND BOARD OF EDUCATION HOST GOVERNOR M. JODI RELL FOR BILL SIGNING AT HAMILTON AVENUE SCHOOL

Greenwich, CT: For Immediate Release – Thursday, July 16, 2009

The Town of Greenwich and the Greenwich Public Schools hosted Governor M. Jodi Rell at Hamilton Avenue School in Greenwich today for the signing of Public Act 09-155: An Act Concerning the Use of Asthmatic Inhalers and Epinephrine Auto-Injectors While at School. For children diagnosed with asthma or allergies, this act allows them to carry an inhaler or epinephrine auto-injector with them in school provided they have authorization from their health care provider who has prescribed a specific medication. Senator L. Scott Frantz, representing the 36th District communities of Greenwich, Stamford and New Canaan, is a co-sponsor of this bill.

First Selectman, Peter J. Tesei, said, “The Town of Greenwich is honored to have had the opportunity to host the Governor for the signing of this bill into law. This legislation will provide an increased level of safety related to health issues as well as greater peace of mind for the children afflicted with asthma or allergies, their parents, and school personnel – knowing that access to necessary medication is at arms length and saving valuable time in the event of a reaction while at school.”

Board of Education Chairman, Nancy Weissler, noted, “The safety and security of our students and staff are of the highest priority for us. This bill takes further steps to ensure that students with asthma or allergies have the care they need in a most timely manner in the event that medication is necessary. We were pleased to be able to host the Governor at our new Hamilton Avenue School as she signed this bill into law.”

Public Act 09-155 will be in effect August 15, 2009.
