The Greenwich Fire Department And The Greenwich Police Department performed last-minute evacuations in Pemberwick, as the Byram River overflowed it's banks just a few hours before the worst of the storm is expected.
The Greenwich First responders are going house to house checking for Greenwich residents as the river is coming up very quickly.
Things are expected to get even worse closer to 11 a.m. this morning as the storm surges.
Three hours before high tide, the tide in Old Greenwich is higher than usual.
Flooding of Greenwich streams and brooks have also been reported.
Total rainfall has exceeded to be over 6 inches, and there have been wind gusts of 60 miles per hour reported in Greenwich.
