PRESS RELEASE: 2008 Academy Award Nominee to Speak at New Lebanon Elementary School
Chris Jenkins has moved from California and Sony Pictures Animation to Greenwich CT where he now works for Blue Sky Studios in Greenwich CT. Mr. Jenkins was an effects animator for Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, and Hercules. He was also an effects supervisor for The Hunchback of Notre Dame and artistic coordinator for Atlantis: The Lost Empire. Chris was born and raised in the Rhondda Valley in South Wales. He attended the Ton Pentre Junior School and later went to the Upper Rhondda Comprehensive School. He also attended cal state long beach for college.
New Lebanon hosts movie nights for the students through out the year. This will be the first special guest for the students. Movie night is sponsored by the PTA, Judge and Associates Real Estate.
Mr. Jenkins found his current residence through Greenwich Real Estate broker Tim Judge. Being in the movie business Mr. Jenkins enjoyed the YouTube videos produced by Judge and Associates. 'Being in the movie business I can appreciate when someone takes the time to make an experience out of watching an informational video.' Jenkins added. It was with that connection the two agreed a special movie night would be a great idea.
Tim Judge has 2 boys in New Lebanon and 3 girls at home. Mr Judge is in charge of the New Lebanon PTA website, and is a den leader in the Byram Cub Scouts. Mr. Judge started in real estate in 1990, and started his own brokerage http://judgeandassociates.com/ in 2003 when he moved from New Rochelle NY.
