When the Federal Aviation Administration tried to fine one of his clients for operating a Learjet that did not meet its standards for airworthiness, Gregory Winton said he got the case thrown out by a judge. Similarly, the Washington, D.C., based aviation lawyer said he won a case where the FAA tried to revoke two pilots' certificates from one of his clients for flying a plane that the agency said exceeded weight restrictions.
