03/24/09 UNETHICAL BEHAVIOUR: Former Greenwich Resident And AIG Bum "Fake Jake" DeSantis Tries To Buck Efforts to Give Back Bonus Pay

DEAR AIG, I QUIT

New York Times

Dear Mr. Liddy,

It is with deep regret that I submit my notice of resignation from A.I.G. Financial Products. I hope you take the time to read this entire letter.....

.....After 12 months of hard work dismantling the company — during which A.I.G. reassured us many times we would be rewarded in March 2009 — we in the financial products unit have been betrayed by A.I.G. and are being unfairly persecuted .....

The Arrogant Little AIG SOB That Refuses To Give Back
His Neighbors Hard Earned Tax Dollars Continues.....

....I take this action after 11 years of dedicated, honorable service to A.I.G. I can no longer effectively perform my duties in this dysfunctional environment....

.....I started at this company in 1998 as an equity trader, became the head of equity and commodity trading and, a couple of years before A.I.G.’s meltdown last September, was named the head of business development for commodities. Over this period the equity and commodity units were consistently profitable — in most years generating net profits of well over $100 million. Most recently, during the dismantling of A.I.G.-F.P., I was an integral player in the pending sale of its well-regarded commodity index business to UBS.....

.....I am disappointed and frustrated over your lack of support for us. I and many others in the unit feel betrayed that you failed to stand up for us in the face of untrue and unfair accusations.....

.....you realized that the employees of the financial products unit needed some incentive to stay and that the contracts, being both ethical and useful, should be left to stand.....

Even Though Cry Baby Jake DeSantis Refuses To Ask For Forgiveness For Stealing From All Of His Neighbors .....

He Still Wants Everyone To Love And Feel Sorry For Him:

....As most of us have done nothing wrong, guilt is not a motivation to surrender our earnings. We have worked 12 long months under these contracts and now deserve to be paid as promised. None of us should be cheated of our payments.....

.....The only real motivation that anyone at A.I.G.-F.P. now has is fear. Mr. Cuomo has threatened to “name and shame,” and his counterpart in Connecticut, Richard Blumenthal, has made similar threats....

.....I know that because of hard work I have benefited more than most during the economic boom and have saved enough that my family is unlikely to suffer....
Be Sure To Read Bonus Bum
"Fake Jake" DeSantis' Fine Print:

....That is why I have decided to donate 100 percent of the effective after-tax proceeds of my retention payment directly to organizations that are helping people who are suffering from the global downturn.....

....On March 16 I received a payment from A.I.G. amounting to $742,006.40, after taxes ...... (Jake DeSantis Is Such An Unethical AIG Bum That He Has Obviously Visited An Accountant To Calculate The Amount Of Taxes To The Penny. DeSantis Is Such A Greedy SOB He Couldn't Add $933.40 Of His Own Money To Make The Taxpayer Funded Package An Even $743,000)

....In light of the uncertainty over the ultimate taxation and legal status of this payment, the actual amount I donate may be less...... (Greedy Con Artist Jake DeSantis Really Has Hug Balls. This AIG Scamster Says I Am Going To Act Like A Big Shot Donating Your Tax Dollars, But If He Miscalculated The Tax Ramifications ..... He Is Going To Use Your Tax Dollars To Pay Any Additional Tax Liability That He May Incur. As Leona Hemsley Said,"Only The Little People Pay Taxes.")

.....This choice is right for me. I wish others at A.I.G.-F.P. luck finding peace with their difficult decision, and only hope their judgment is not clouded by fear......

Spoiled Disloyal Bonus Bum " Fake Jake" DeSantis
Gives No Notice To AIG:
He's Just Going To Take His Neighbor's Money And Run.....

....Mr. Liddy, I wish you success in your commitment to return the money extended by the American government, and luck with the continued unwinding of the company’s diverse businesses — especially those remaining credit default swaps. I’ll continue over the short term to help make sure no balls are dropped, but after what’s happened this past week I can’t remain much longer — there is too much bad blood.....

WHAT AIG BONUS BUM "FAKE JAKE" DESANTIS WONT TELL YOU IS......

That he and the other AIG Bums decided to accelerate by three months more than a quarter of the amounts due under the contracts. That action probably net him $250,000.00 in taxpayer money and allowed him to stash $185, 501.60 after taxes in the bank.

This on top of a huge six figure paycheck, benefits and pension that received tax favored status over the years. It was greedy low lives like Jake DeSantis of this world who benefited from the tax cuts that redistributed wealth from the poor and middle class and gave it to unethical robber baron SOB's who don't want the public to know where there had earned tax dollars went.

Here Is How The Jake DeSantis Ponzie Scheme Will Probably Work:

First AIG Bum "Fake Jake" DeSantis Will Use Over $250,000.00 Of Your Tax Dollars To Pay His Tax Bill. Then He Will Claim Huge Tax Deductions For Donating $742,006.40 Of Your Tax Dollars To Help Those "Who Are Suffering From The Global Downturn".

Greedy " Fake Jake" DeSantis Will Then Be Able To Carry The The Taxpayer Funded Deduction Forward Three Years, Thus Allowing Him To Pay Virtually No Taxes.

The $742,006.40 Of Mr. Desantists' Neighbors Tax Dollars Will Need To Go Into A Financial Vehicle Like A Private Foundation To Distribute The Tax Dollars.

Of Coarse, There Will Be Expences Involved With Distributing Your Tax Dollars So Greedy "Fake Jake" Desantis Will Have To Be Compensated. Desantis May Even Need To Hire Friends And Family Members To Help Disburse Your Tax Dollars To Help Those "Who Are Suffering From The Global Downturn".

Then There Is Greedy Jake Desantis Mission Of Distributing Your Hard Earned Tax Dollars To Help Those "Who Are Suffering From The Global Downturn".

This Mission Statement Includes Virtually Everybody In The World .... Greedy Jake Desantis' Laws .... Greedy "Fake Jake" Desantis' Golfing Buddy ...... Greedy Jake Desantis' Business Associates ..... Etc.....

You Will Notice That Greedy "Fake Jake" Desantis' Wont Say I Am Giving Your Tax Dollars To Underprivileged Children.

You Will Notice That Greedy "Fake Jake" Desantis' Wont Say I Am Giving Your Tax Dollars To Pay The Medical Bills Of Uninsured Families.

You Will Notice That Greedy "Fake Jake" Desantis' Wont Say I Am Giving Your Tax Dollars To Senior Citizens In Danger Of Losing Their Homes
All Of The Above, Charitable Mission Statements Would Be To Narrowly Focus And Make It Too Hard To Abuse.

Shame, Shame, Shame On "Fake Jake" Desantis

One Last Thought About The Less Than Transparent "Fake Jake" Desantis And His Bogus Plan To Keep Your Tax Dollars.

As We Said Above:

Greedy AIG Bum "Fake Jake" Desantis has not denied that he did not receive the December bonus that was accelerate by three months.

These bonuses were more than a quarter of the amounts due under the contracts.

That action probably netted "Fake Jake" DeSantis A Cool $250,000.00 In Taxpayer Money And Allowed Him To Stash $185, 501.60 After Taxes In The Bank.

March 23, 2009

Dear Hamilton Avenue School Parents and Staff:

As part of the procedures in place to respond with vigilance and investigate facility concerns in our new building, a leak was discovered on Monday, March 9, 2009 at the bottom of the wall and in a floor seam at the entrance of room 104. It was determined that the leak came from a clean-out pipe that was left uncapped by the contractors before closing up the wall. Frank Mazza, Building Committee Chair, was immediately notified and responded to the scene and then contacted Worth Construction. The following timeline outlines the events that have occurred since that time:

Tuesday, March 10, 2009: Worth Construction sent a representative to the building.

Thursday, March 12, 2009: A plumber, arranged by Worth, responded to the incident, placing a temporary cap on the pipe.

Friday, March 13, 2009: District facilities team opened a small hole in the wall to determine possible water damage. Observations were not conclusive.

Monday, March 16, 2009: District facilities personnel, concerned with possible damage behind the wall, contacts Frank Mazza. They are advised to wait and monitor.

Tuesday, March 17, 2009: District facilities team, still concerned with possible water damage and insisting on investigating further, received approval to open the wall.

Friday, March 20, 2009: District facilities team opens the wall finding evidence of water damage and mold.

Sat./Sun., March 21-22, 2009: District maintenance team works over the weekend to remediate the area and calls in Hygenix to consult on remediation and to conduct environmental testing.

Bob Brown from Hygenix has attested to the safe occupancy of the building. We expect the results of the testing to be received on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 and will make them available via the web site and/or upon request.

We are very proud of our beautiful new building, it serves our students and staff very well.

However, given the history, and that it is new construction and that there is an outstanding punch list, we will continue to attentively monitor our new building for any maintenance and/or construction concerns and will update you as situations arise.

Sincerely,
Damaris Rau
Hamilton Avenue School Principal

Suspected mold found in new Hamilton Avenue school

By Colin Gustafson

Posted: 03/24/2009 02:29:38 PM EDT

GREENWICH -- School officials say the newly-reopened Hamilton Avenue School remains safe for students and staff to continue occupying after evidence of mold and water damage was found late last week near the wall outside a pre-kindergarten classroom.

Bob Brown, an environmental consultant with Hygenix, the firm hired by the school board to test for mold, has attested to the safe occupancy of the school, according to a letter from the school's principal, Damaris Rau, .....

.....Students and staff were allowed to return to the Chickahominy facility on Feb. 17, after spending three years in temporary modular classrooms n the Western Middle School campus while they awaited completion of the school's reconstruction project.

Closed in 2005 because of long-standing mold and structural problems, the old school was supposed to be razed and rebuilt in 18 months, but instead the building project took more than three years to complete because of delays stemming from unforeseen construction problems, communication issues and disputes with the contractor.

UPDATE #2

"It's a little concerning that it has been found in the new building, but I do understand that mistakes are made," said mother Kerry Dunn

School officials say latest discovery poses no health threat

.....The 2-to-3-square-foot patch of mold discovered this month was attributed to a leaky interior pipe that hadn't been properly sealed by the general contractor during the construction process, officials said.

...."Based on observations, the air test results, and the information that has been provided to me, it is my opinion that the steps taken have effectively eliminated any residual microbial hazards," Brown wrote in a letter sent Tuesday to district Facilities Director Tony Byrne....

....The hygienist's findings come after district facilities officials spent much of this past weekend opening a 20-square-foot portion of the wall to investigate evidence of water damage and mold.....

....The pipe, which was later fitted with a permanent seal, had been periodically spewing a small amount of wastewater on the nearby drywall every time somebody flushed a toilet to which it was connected, said Mazza....

Lorraine Bukowski, of Aquarion Water Co. of Connecticut, which services the area, said officials were notified of the small pipe bursting at 11:04 a.m., leading to the water being shut off for 11 streets in the area, including a condominium complex on Ettl Lane. Mother of two disabled sons Henrietta Spink offers an insight into the
anguish of the Camerons
My heart goes out to the Camerons. A few years ago, David wrote me a letter saying
that my book, Henrietta's Dream, about the heartache of caring for our disabled sons,
had touched him and Samantha profoundly. Parents of disabled children are an emotional club,
brought together by the constant fear of our children dying.
Death is such a presence in our lives that my husband and I rarely discuss it.
Every morning, when we go in to our boys' rooms, we wonder if they will be alive.
We have seen so many of their school friends die. The parents of those with degenerative
diseases have the agonising experience of watching them slowly losing their faculties,
while those whose children â€" like Ivan Cameron â€" have cerebral palsy and/or epilepsy
and are prone to fitting, often find that children who seem fine one day can be gone the next.
People who don't have a severely disabled child will think that death must be to some degree
a blessed release. A tiny part of you does feel that, but a parent's guilt and the grief
is so overwhelming that it far outweighs any relief. When you have a very disabled child,
you feel totally responsible and overwhelmingly protective. Such children so totally swamp your
life that, if they are no longer there, the void is enormous.
It is hard to move on. I once spoke to a mother for four hours about her son â€" and only
discovered at the end that he had died six years earlier. I've seen parents burst into
tears at the sight of my sons because theirs were no longer with them, even though theirs
had lost all function and awareness. Even if you have always known at the back of your
mind that your child might die, nothing prepares you for the reality of loss.

The sexual assaults, which took place in the bedroom of one of the boys,

The judge said he chose a supervision order due to the boy's previous
