This Month in Greenwich History

THIS MONTH IN GREENWICH HISTORY March 3, 1844: A Temperance meeting was held at Richard Lush's [an ironic name, given the circumstances] tobacco room at Sherwood's Bridge with a large attendance. Eighteen "took the pledge."
