The acquisition continues an aggressive push this year by Douglass Elliman into luxury markets outside the New York City Metropolitan area, where it claims to command over 75 offices and 5,000 agents. Earlier this year, Elliman touched down in Beverly Hills, California and Greenwich, Connecticut, and stretched out its footprint in South Florida.
