The Greenwich Post and Greenwich Citizen are not delivering crucial information to the single family home-owners of Greenwich

Greenwich's Two Free Newspapers Have Not Updated Their News Websites For Three Days.

What's Up With That!!!! Greenwich deserves better!!!

It's time to once again Beat Complacent Greenwich Press.

Why have a news website with old and outdated information?

07/11/09 So Far There Are No New News Links From The Greenwich Citizen - Maybe their Will Be Something Later Today

Greenwich Roundup will let you know if either of these so-called news websites posts some fresh news content or publishes some press releases today.

Today's Greenwich Time (Public kept in the dark too often)editorial states...

"Being an informed citizen in a democratic society is not a passive experience. There certainly are times when people get caught by surprise because they simply weren't paying attention."

The Greenwich Post and Greenwich Citizen's failure to daily update their so-called news websites sure dose make it hard for concerned residents to "pay attention" to what's going on at Town Hall, the public schools, the parks, the police station and other local government agencies.

Just look at all the news stories that Greenwich Roundup posted yesterday, but the Greenwich Post news room and the Greenwich Citizen news room have not been able to post one news story on their so-called news websites.

If the Greenwich Time and Greenwich Roundup can update their news websites every day then why cant the Greenwich Post and the Greenwich Citizen update daily?

Day After Day Greenwich Roundup delivers the most complete news package to Greenwich residents.

07/14/08 Real Estate - City Planner William Warner: Richman can't can't let bad tenants chase away good tenants. It comes down to property management.

Middletown's Wharfside Commons Gets Mixed Report Card

Hartford Courant

MIDDLETOWN - Wharfside Commons was this city's most anticipated housing development when it opened a year ago on Ferry Street in the North End, the poorest street in the poorest section of Middletown.

Now, Wharfside's 96 apartments are all rented, and the tenants, most of whom are working and earning $25,000 to $40,000 annually, have boosted employment and income along the blocks between the northern end of the city's wide, bustling Main Street and Route 9.

But the one-year report card is mixed, clouded by a recent assault and a nonfatal shooting involving people living or stayi.ng at Wharfside. Those incidents, and an impression that the complex had relaxed its tenant-screening policy, raised concerns about management and triggered an ultimatum from Mayor Sebastian Giuliano....

... But the complex has had its critics from the start. Giuliano and the downtown business establishment believe the complex is too big and too dense, and they believe the city — through grants, a property tax break and a donation of land — gave too sweet a deal to the developer, the wealthy Richman Group of Greenwich. Richman owns and operates thousands of apartments across the country, including eight developments in Connecticut and New York...
