Hamilton Avenue School second-grader Shea Darling ran her fingers over the familiar smooth top of the desk she's had since September during an open house last night at her desk's new location, in a second-floor classroom Cos Cob School....

....delayed was The Harris Survey, a bi-annual satisfaction survey of parents, teachers and students, which was to be sent out this month.

The next public meeting on the problems at Hamilton Avenue School's temporary buildings is this afternoon at 4:30 p.m. when a newly-created special committee for facilities will hold its first meeting at the Havemeyer Building, 290 Greenwich Ave.


I wonder why this meeting is held at 4:30 in the afternoon instead of being held at night?

Maybe, it's because most parents are working at 4:30 in the afterno
on.
