08/13/10 GREENWICH BRIEFING: Accused Norwalk con artist faces new charges

A Norwalk man charged in July with defrauding his 88-year-old boss was arrested again Thursday after officers from the Connecticut Financial Crimes Task Force discovered the man had made even more attempts to steal money, police said.

A black bear seems to have taken up residence in town. Since July, police said they have had six bear sightings in the area of Riversville Road and John Street, including one Thursday morning in which a woman saw a large bear in her backyard by the pool.
