GREENWICH, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--W. R. Berkley Corporation (NYSE: BER) will release its first quarter 2008 earnings after the market closes on Thursday, April 24, 2008. A copy of the earnings release will be available on the companys website at www.wrberkley.com.

The company has scheduled its quarterly conference call with analysts and investors to discuss its earnings and other information on Friday, April 25, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. eastern time. A live audio webcast of the conference call may be accessed via the companys website at www.wrberkley.com. A recording of the conference call will be available on the companys website approximately two hours after the end of the call.

Please note that the NYSE ticker symbol for W. R. Berkley Corporation will change to WRB effective April 15, 2008.
