A Greenwich woman attempted to steal a high-end pair of jeans from the Saks Fifth Avenue store on Greenwich Avenue on Sunday afternoon by hiding it in her baby stroller, police said. Mary Meerbergen, 31, of 27 Richmond Drive, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, sixth-degree larceny, possession of a shoplifting device and impairing the morals of a child.
