William Ewald, Eisenhower speechwriter, biographer, dies

Bill Ewald is remembered by his longtime Greenwich friend Jack Bausman, retired correspondent for the Associated Press: iBill was a very wise man on political matters and I always enjoyed talking with him and getting the advantage of his insight on current issues. He knew the smart questions to ask when seeking information on which to base his views.
