After working his entire 23-year career on the midnight shift in the Greenwich Police Department's Patrol Division, Police Officer Joseph Ferraro Jr. has retired. Before joining the department on Oct. 26, 1992, Ferraro who was raised in Norwalk graduated from Sacred Heart University with a bachelor of science degree in accounting and worked for the Internal Revenue Service for six years.
