A mixed bag of winter precipitation has resulted in slick roads throughout the area during the Monday morning commute, with traffic volume much lighter than normal. Icing was reported on the northbound Taconic State Parkway at Route 35/202 in Yorktown Heights at 7 a.m. An accident was reported on the northbound Merritt Parkway at Route 120A on the Port Chester-Greenwich, Conn., border at 8 a.m. The right lane of northbound Route 9 is blocked between Bear Mountain State Parkway and Route 202/Route 6 because of a disabled vehicle in an incident reported at 8 a.m. Most of Westchester is expected to see 1 to 3 inches of snow with 3 to 6 inches possible in areas farther north.
