The Greenwich Library will sponsor a workshop on Saturday, Feb. 14, t to help people research their genealogy through newspaper databases at 2 p.m. Genealogy researcher and teacher Janeen Bjork will present a survey of the major newspaper websites and a look at optical character recognition, or OCR. OCR is the technology that allows newspapers to be "read" and indexed by computers, making it possible to search newspapers online.
