Stamford Police Seek Help Finding Driver In Double-Fatal Car Crash

Stamford police are looking for a woman who they say was the driver of the car that slammed into another car last week that resulted in the deaths of two people. A $500 reward has been offered for information on or the location of Felicia Burl, 32. Police said she was the driver who fled the scene of a double fatal motor vehicle crash on West Main Street in Stamford near the Greenwich line at about 8:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7. In the accident, a 2002 Nissan Altima traveling south on Alvord Lane ran a red light at West Main Street and struck a westbound BMW, police said.

Ticket Deadline Nears for Brunch with Santa

Greenwich Police are investigating the theft of "a significant amount of high-value jewelry" from a Riverside home that was reported on Nov. 10. According to Greenwich Police spokesman Lt. Kraig Gray, a resident of a Riverside Lane home reported the theft of "a significant amount of high value jewelry over the last several weeks" on Nov. 10. Crash Investigation Leads to Man's DWI Arrest

The driver of a car involved in a motor vehicle accident on Oak Ridge Street is facing driving under the influence and unsafe backing charges. According to a Greenwich Police Report, the driver was involved in a crash on Oak Ridge Street about 6:35 p.m. Veterans Day and when officers arrived they found the man "instead on his feet and had an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his person."
