Voter Turnout At 56 Percent In 2014 Election

Voter turnout in this year's general election was 55.6 percent, according to figures released Wednesday by the Secretary of the State's office. Democratic Governor Dannel P. Malloy won re-election last month against Republican nominee Tom Foley, a private equity investor from Greenwich who ran against Malloy in 2010.
