The houses arrived some 25 years ago, rising from yards made of icing and colored sugar, bearing architectural elements that not only caught the eye, but one's appetite, too. "They brought a whole other dimension to the event itself," said Susan Wohlforth of those first gingerbread houses featured at the Junior League of Greenwich's Enchanted Forest event, which is celebrating its 38th year.
