Born in New York City on July 11, 1931, he was a long-time resident of Greenwich and a long-time employee of Lone Star Industries in Greenwich and Stamford, from which he retired in 1996 as Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel. A 1967 graduate of New York University law school, he was a member of the New York and Connecticut bars and admitted before the U.S. Supreme Court, for which he appeared before on Oct. 6, 1976.
