The Greenwich YMCA and Susan G. Komen Connecticut will host an educational program on the importance of early detection and treatment of breast cancer on Oct. 22. The hourlong program - which starts at 10 a.m. - also will feature the men and women whose work is making a difference in the fight against breast cancer, as well as a patient discussing their survival journey. David Gruen, MD, MBA, is the Director of Breast Imaging, and co-director of the breast care program at Stamford healthcare system in Stamford.
