Friends of Austistic People is honored to be chosen by the Greenwich Wine Society to receive 50% of the proceeds of their first charity wine tasting event scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 5. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. at the Greenwich Garden Education Center on Bible Street.
Organizers report that this event “is highly affordable, great fun and for a very good cause: to raise funds for a Farm Academy to help grown children/young adults with autism.”
There will be hors d'oeuvres (courtesy of Whole Foods and Plum Catering, fine Chilean wine (courtesy of Casas Patronales and Val's), live guitar music, door prizes, a virtual “Barnyard Sale” and more.
