Officer Involved In Plainville Theater Shooting Dies In Farmington Crash

One of two police officers who shot at a man outside a movie theater last month, accidentally injuring two fellow officers, died after a crash in Farmington Tuesday night. Sgt. Timothy Mullaney, 44, of Bristol was driving south on New Britain Avenue shortly before 9 p.m. when the 1974 Chevrolet Corvette he was driving left the road and struck a tree in front of a commercial building, Farmington police said
