Tom Foley’s Statement on the Ninth Anniversary of September 11, 2001 | |
“On September 11, 2001, we suffered a heinous terrorist attack on our nation. On the ninth anniversary of that unforgettable day, we proudly honor the innocent civilians who perished. We come together to remember how the worst in humanity brought out the best in humanity. We pay tribute to the bravery of the passengers of United flight 93, to the firefighters, police, rescue workers, and regular citizens who ran towards the Twin Towers and the Pentagon, many sacrificing their own lives to save others. Once again, we renew our pledge to never forget.” |
