Lamont Expresses Condolences to Petronella Family, UFCW Local 371
New Haven, CT - Democratic gubernatorial candidate Ned Lamont today released the following statement on the passing of United Food and Commercial Workers Local 371 President Brian Petronella:
"Brian dedicated his entire life to fighting for working families, for jobs that pay a fair wage, and for safe working conditions and fair benefits. A few months ago, Brian and his members stood up to support me when few others had. He promised to 'educate' me throughout this campaign, and he has, in more ways than I can count, and I will always be incredibly grateful for his friendship. Annie and I send our thoughts and prayers to Brian's wife Elaine, the rest of his family, and his brothers and sisters at UFCW Local 371."
