Yesterday the Republican candidates for Governor of Connecticut participated in a debate hosted by the New London Day, WNTH News 8 and WCTX MyTV9. Tom Foley for Governor Campaign Manager Justin Clark released the following statement after the debate:
“Tonight Tom distinguished himself as the only candidate in the race for governor with a credible plan to balance the budget without raising taxes. Tom is also the only candidate who is not part of the Hartford establishment, and who did not get us into the mess we are in today.
Thanks to the New London Day, the Garde, and Channels 8 and 9 for organizing a great debate and allowing the public to hear Tom’s message. His superior performance tonight solidifies the fact that he is the best candidate to represent the Republicans in the general election, and he looks forward to victories on August 10th and in November.”
