Tom Foley's Memorial Day Statement
"Today we remember our service men and women who have given their lives so that we may live in freedom. Since Memorial Day last year, six names have sadly been added to the list of those from Connecticut who have died serving their country. They are: Army (National Guard) Sergeant Edward C. Kramer, Army Captain Benjamin Sklaver, Marine Corporal Xhacob Latorre, Army Staff Sergeant Ronald Spino, Marine Lance Corporal Tyler Griffin, and Army (National Guard) Staff Sergeant Edwin Rivera. They have given their lives for the benefit of others. We honor and thank them and their families for their sacrifice."
