I live in the Seattle area, which is where the PI is published. Hardly anyone here reads it. The only thing holding the PI afloat is a special Joint Operating Agreement between the PI and the Seattle Times. The Seattle Times gives the PI money in order to keep it going so that lousy front for a sixties underground newspaper doesn't go under and put the Seattle Times under the gun of the Anti-Trust laws.
