Greenwich Roundup Michiko Kamhi, 48, of Florence Road, was reported missing on April 19 after she left home with her family dog.
Kamhi's car was recovered April 20 in Westport.
Westport Police using a bloodhound tracked her scent from the car to the Compo Mill Beach, where it was lost.
Police said Kamhi's dog was found dead on April 21 by Westport police on Sherwood Island Beach, a short distance from Compo Mill Beach.
