SKATEPARK CLINICS
The Town of Greenwich, Parks and Recreation Dept. announces that there is still space available in its Skateboarding and Inline Skating Clinics this spring. The classes will meet after school for children 6 to 12 years of age.
Each clinic will meet four consecutive Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays from 4:15 to 5 pm beginning on April 20, 2010.
The fee for the four sessions is $60.00 for annual members, and $90.00 for non-members. The price includes free practice skate time before or after your lesson until the Park closes.

Summer Ramp Camp Registration begins
The Department of Parks and Recreation announces that registration will begin for our summer Skatepark Ramp Camps starting March 1, 2010. The Ramp camp is for skateboarders between the ages of 8 and 14.
During the camp time the skaters will learn new tricks, play games, and skate on this unique park. The program runs weekly Monday – Thursday 9 to 12 noon with a rain date on Friday. The skatepark has an experienced, fully trained staff that is friendly and helpful and can help your child learn how to skate, or improve his/her skills.
Weekly sessions are the weeks of: June 28 – July 1, July 5 - 8, July 12 - 15, August 9 – 12, August 16 – 19, and August 23 - 26.
There are also Pee Wee clinics for skateboarders 6 to 8 years of age that run for one-hour 6:30 to 7:30 pm Monday – Thursday with a rain date on Friday. These weekly clinics will meet the weeks of July 19 - 22, July 26 – 29, and August 2 - 5.
