Pilates Classes at the
Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center

The Department of Parks and Recreation announces that registration has begun for our very popular Pilates Class that is offered at the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10 to 11 am starting March 23, 2010.

Pilates is an exercise option for everyone. Designed to develop a strong core (stomach, back and glutes) while maintaining loose limber limbs the exercises provide multiple variations to meet the needs of different body types. It strengthens the body while keeping all the joints mobile and flexible. While it’s not a cardiovascular exercise, you’ll feel your muscles working. Bring a mat, work out clothes, and water. This is a mixed-level class so all are welcome to attend.

The class will be taught by Laura Horowitz-Lehrhaupt from Personal Euphoria who has been a Pilates instructor since 2004, and has been in the fitness industry for 13 years. She is certified in Mat, Reformer, Pilates ring, and Pilates ball.

Space is limited so register early. For more information or to register call the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center at 203-532-1259, or visit our website at www.greenwichct.org .
