The Department of Parks and Recreation announces that they will be showing the play “A Christmas Carol” at the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center Tuesday December 1, 2009 from 3 pm to 4 pm. This program is specifically geared to children in Kindergarten – 8th grades and will be presented by the Hampstead Stage Company.
Charles Dickens,” A Christmas Carol” is a story that is both timeless and universal. It is the delightful tale of the miser, Ebenezer Scrooge, and his clerk, Bob Cratchit. Through visits from the spirits of Christmas past, present, and future, Scrooge learns the true meaning of Christmas.
