Committee approves study of electronic border tolls

Despite an outcry from Fairfield County legislators, members of the state's Transportation Committee on Friday approved a bill proposing that the state's planners consider ways to install electronic tolls at state borders in municipalities such as Greenwich and Danbury to fund transportation projects.
