BRENDA K. MORRIS
Congratulations to Brenda Morris for indicting another alleged crooked politician. Yesterday my girl Brenda Morris- Principal Federal Prosecutor Integrity division brought down the Senior Senator of Alaska Ted Stevens on charges that he concealed hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of gifts and services from a company in his home state.
How stupid is this Senator??? Here you have a senior Senator, was THIRD in line for Presidency, been in politics longer than I have been alive (and I'm no young chicken), seen a lot of his colleagues go down for making stupid mistakes and yet he got himself caught up in something like this.
According to CNN, the Senator was caught by surprise yesterday by his indictment. Hello, Mr. Senator this investigation has been going on for a year (according to CNN) and the FBI searched your house in July 2007. Why were you surprised Mr. Senator? Is it because you think you are above the law and no one can touch you? Is it because you are the longest serving Republican Senator in history that this somehow gives you immunity? Dude, your friend and CEO of Veco, the company that allegedly gave you that new garage, new first floor and new wrap around deck on the first of second floor of your house in Alaska plead guilty in 2007 for paying out more than $400,000.00 in corrupt payments to officials in Alaska, did you not think he was going to squeal like a rat?!?!
Mr. Senator of all people you should have known better. You were the former chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee; you should have known that it was inappropriate to swap your old ford mustang for a $44,000.00 gas guzzling Range Rover for one of your children without reporting it.
Brenda I will be following this case very carefully on CNN so you go and get the bastard. Oh yeah, make sure you look good for the cameras, because you know if you don't 'THE DIVA' will call you out on it.
