Tax credits for toxic sites proposed

The General Assembly is considering expanding traditional tax credits to the blighted industrial sites that ring Bridgeport and other cities in an effort to spur redevelopment and create jobs. "This is very much a bipartisan effort and it's caught fire in our caucus and spreading throughout the building," said state Sen. Scott Frantz , R-Greenwich, during a public hearing Wednesday.
