Mandel's Lone Pine Quits Hong Kong to Start San Francisco Office

Stephen Mandel's $29 billion Lone Pine Capital plans to move its Hong Kong office to a new one in San Francisco. The Greenwich, Connecticut-based hedge fund firm cited research benefits for the relocation, which will occur later this year, according to a letter, a copy of which was obtained by Bloomberg.
