When the bang of a gavel sent three armed robbers to lengthy prison sentences in late February, it marked the end of a crime wave that terrorized homeowners in southern Connecticut, including Ridgefield, and Westchester County, N.Y. It also capped a long, intricate effort by investigators to track and capture the trio of robbers -- Paul DiBiase, 59, his brother Daniel DiBiase , 58, and Jason Foskey , 36. "It was very labor-intensive," said Greenwich Detective Sgt. Kristopher Shockley , one of the lead investigators on the case.
