Selectmen Approve $90,000 Settlement for Greenwich Mom Who Claimed Negligence Caused Son's Injury

The Board of Selectmen unanimously voted to settle a lawsuit brought by a Greenwich mother and her son, who claimed the Greenwich Board of Education was negligent for not providing a safe environment when her son was injured in a gymnastics class at Julian Curtiss school. Madeline Frost filed the legal action after her then 10-year-old son suffered a fractured elbow when he fell from gymnastic rings at Julian Curtiss in February 2012.
