Greenwich's Manfredi opens New Canaan shop

After 27 years of selling pearls on Greenwich Avenue, Manfredi Jewels opened a second location in New Canaan last month, branching out to another glittering town along Connecticut's Gold Coast. "I see this as an amazing opportunity," Roberto Chiappelliani , who has owned the business for almost three decades, said as he stood in the new shop at 72 Elm St. The location was previously home to Henry C. Reid , another jewelry shop that closed this year when the owner retired.
