Greenwich's Lakeland Lumber Joins 'Homes For Heroes' Project

Murphy Brothers Contracting of Mamaroneck joined forces with volunteer students from Iona College and the Habitat for Humanity staff to install 20 new windows and exterior trim casing at Westchester's latest "Homes for Heroes" project on 52-54 Purser Place, Yonkers. The "Homes for Heroes" Program works to provide comfortable energy-efficient housing for area military veterans who have served our county in the Middle East, through their "sweat-equity" participation and the help of the many Habitat for Humanity volunteers and partners.
