Greenwich Comedian Mixes Irish Roots, Family Antics For Palace Show

The Greenwich country clubs, the women in pearls, the use of "summer" as a verb: That has been the fodder for much of Jane Condon's comedy -- at least when she's performing in the tri-state area -- and it's what you can expect in her "Colleens of Comedy" show at The Palace in Stamford on March 13. You can also expect, since we're close to St. Patrick's Day, a host of Irish jokes, many of which stem from her childhood growing up as the youngest of four girls in a blue-collar town outside Boston with grandparents straight from the Emerald Isle. "Only the Irish say we don't have drinking problems, but I've been the designated driver since I was 11," she said.
