RYE, N.Y. Dorothy Hobby , died at home with her family by her side Wednesday, March 11. She was 85. Hobby was born on May 15, 1929, in Greenwich, Conn., to Laura Bramming Van Loo and William Van Loo. She married Allie C. Hobby on Dec. 24, 1946.
