The Merritt Parkway closed in Stamford at Route 106 following an accident reported at 9:21 a.m. An earlier accident reported at 8 a.m. blocked two lanes on southbound I-95 South in Greenwich between Route 1 and Indian Field Road . Further north, another accident, reported at 7:59 a.m., took out two lanes on southbound I-95 between Route 1 and Noroton Avenue in Darien.
