Driver Flees Toward Greenwich After Double Fatal Crash In Stamford

Two people are dead and police are looking for a driver who fled on foot toward Greenwich after a two-car accident late Friday, Nov. 7, in Stamford. A 2002 Nissan Altima sedan traveling south on Alvord Lane went through a red light at the intersection of West Main Street at 8:37 p.m. Friday and collided with a 2007 BMW 328xi station wagon driven by Anthony Andriulli, 73, of Valleywood Road in Cos Cob, police said.

Driver convicted of killing two Greenwich librarians while drunk given a new trial

The woman convicted of killing two popular Greenwich librarians in Denver while driving drunk has been granted a new trial. A Colorado appeals court this week ordered a new trial for Sandra Jacobson , the woman convicted in a 2009 drunken-driving crash that killed Kate McClelland , 71, and Kathleen Krasniewicz , 54, who were librarians at Perrot Memorial Library in Old Greenwich .

Woman creates 'Buddy Bench' in memory of bullied teen
