Police: Two Bronx Men Foiled in Attempt to Get Drug with Forged Prescription

Two Bronx men tried to get drugs with a forged prescription Tuesday at Walgreens Pharmacy at 1333 E. Putnam Ave., but police were alerted and arrested both of them, according to Greenwich police. Police were told that the prescription appeared to be fraudulent, so they went to the store after the 3:46 p.m. call, where they found Jamarr Fowler, 33, and Kiani Henderson, 29. On further investigation, police said, they confirmed the prescription was fraudulent.

Greenwich native swims in English Channel relay

Greenwich native Tim Lovett recently participated in a relay swim across the English Channel to raise funds for Swim Across America, an organization that raisies money and awareness for cancer research, prevention and treatment through swimming- related events. Written on Lovett's right arm is the name of his mother, Helen, who died of cancer.
