Rummage Room celebrates 50 years of giving

Bargain hunting knows no boundaries -- at least in Greenwich, where the Rummage Room is celebrating its 50th anniversary full of anticipation of another banner year. Regardless of religion, economic status, race, ethnic background or political persuasion, the Old Greenwich landmark -- a former U.S. Post Office and later a hardware store -- appeals to just about everyone, said thrift shop manager Maria Drieghe.
